NEW PARISH PRIEST CONFIRMED


Father Frank Deuring aged 39,Parish Priest of Stadtbergen confirmed as
new Parish Priest from September
2008.Due to historical reasons,
he had to be approved by the city council.
Monsignor Knebel
 introduced him to them .
He has the full backing of
 Monsignor Knebel and
Bishop Walter Mixa.We
pray for our new Parish
 Priest Elect.

NEW CURATE FOR FÜSSEN PARISH
The new Curate for the Parish of Füssen will be Father Julius Kreuzer.He starts in the Parish from 29th June 2008,The feast of St Peter & St Paul,Apostles. He will take the place of Father
Kasimierz  Piotrowski,who leaves for pastures new in the autumn

The Basilica of St Mang in Füssen,Bavaria,Deutschland is the Parish Church for the highest town in Bavaria,Germany.The town is 808 metres above sea level.The photo above shows St Mang and the former Monastery next to it.The Monastery was taken from the church during the secularization period in 1803.It is now owned by the local Council.
