Kalvarienburg Füssen
St.Mang Basilika has no stations of the Cross within its walls.They can be found about 1 kilometre away next to the Frau Am Berg Kirche.This Church is situated on the main road from Füssen to Austria.The Stations of the Cross start by the path next to the Church of the Füssen side.

1st Station
Jesus is condemmed to death

2nd Station
Jesus is made to carry His Cross

These were built by a priest of St Mang called Johann Baptist Graf(29.01.1802-07.03.1862) against the wishes of the Bishop of Augsburgh and the people of Füssen.He built them during the 18th century to bring people back to God when the secularisation period was prominent.
The Marian Chapel on the Deer Meadow is used twice a year for outdoor Mass if the weather is good.The 3rd station is on the right hand side of the chapel and the 4th on the left hand side.

To the left of the Chapel is this cross with a serpent on it.

The next three Stations are found in the tunnel underneath the three crosses at the very top.

To find the 14th Station go down from the 13th station and turn to your right.Go through the tunnel and you will find it.

A monument has been built on the kavarienberg in honour of Father Graf who was parish priest in 1832.The work was started in 1837 and finished in 1862.The monument can be found between the 2nd Station and the Deer Meadow.
